Genuine leather, a proof of good taste.
MARA blu bags & accessories are made from the best quality materials available.
Leather, hide and suede are natural, living products that have grown, they're not man-made.
They get more character as time passes.
The skin of an animal shows all sorts of variations as scars, grains, pores and variations in thickness and colour. They are natural imperfections and not defects. They will not be taken as ground for possible complaints.
Nature leaves its signature and it enhances the individual character of this material.
With daily use leather ages and becomes more beautiful. Even so, proper care will ensure even wear and lasting joy.
Maintenance tips:
Suede and leather can be treated with a stain- and waterrepellent colourless leatherspray, for the
best protection against dirt and water.
Try to dab stains, no rubbing. Has fluid penetrated into the leather, give leather time to correct
itself.
Raindrops can cause little spots to appear on the surface. Such spots can be eliminated by mere
rubbing of the skin's surface with a soft clothes brush or rubbing the surface against each other.
Suede can produce a dust which results from the shearing of skins. The dust will disappear in
course of time or can be removed with a suede brush or tape (take care the glue doesn't come
off!).
Never keep leather, hide or suede in plastic. Use a paper bag or fabric for storing.
If gotten wet, dry slowly at chamber temperature. Never near the fire, central heating or in the sun.
The material will get hard and rigid. If so, try using a special leather spray or 'walken', giving the s
suede, leather or hide a massage.
Greasy stains can be carefully removed with an emery-stone for suede or with very fine sand-
paper.
